General and Mrs. Grey their son and daughter and old Robin dined. Rode to Quarry [Ken/Cann Quarry?]. Lady Pelham improved, less cough. Dr. Warren said she's always been short of breath. Lucy consulted Dr. Bayford & was found to be better also. Walked to Amphitheatre with boy. Little girl well [Jack & Theresa Parker]. Duke of Devonshire expects the Irish [?] down here. Charles Fox comes in a fortnight. Mr. Elliott will write when he knows anything about commission. If Lord W. dies it must be settled soon.
