    “Imperfect Copy” Deed of Defeazance Parties: (i) George Baker of Cranfield, gentleman; Thomas Odell of Clement Danes [Middlesex], gentleman; William Field of Cranfield, gentleman; William Baker of Cranfield, gentleman; Peter Edwards of Cranfield, yeoman; (ii) Lionel, Earl of Middlesex Reciting: - R6/15/1/10 in which the Manor of Cranfield was conveyed to Gilbert Stoughton, William Bedcott, Nicholas Price and Henry Odell in trust for (i) and Alice Wheeler of Cranfield, widow, Joel Baker of Cranfield, yeoman and John Girton the elder of Cranfield, yeoman to whom the £2,000 purchase money belonged; - the Manor of Cranfield and all other lands of (i) were chargeable with payment of £7,000 each to Elizabeth and Anne Cranfield when they became 15, the payment to Elizabeth being due on 1 July 1664; - (ii) owed £1,400 to (i) and recognizance of 13 February 1663 secured the manor from being charged with the sum Operative Part: - (i) undertook to pay £14,000 to Elizabeth Cranfield on or before 1 July 1664
