Describes Fanny's countenance & behaviour and Middleton's relationship with Lord & Lady Pelham etc... Carmarthen's divorce; apportionment of blame etc... Commissioners landed at Plymouth, Eden detained a day or two. Fritz will meet with them in Town. Imagines Lord Carlisle will provide for Storer etc. Description of life at Stanmer. Declined hunting with Harry & Tom due to not having a trustworthy horse and wariness of violent exercise. Has heard nothing of Spanish horses. Would remain in London if it served Grantham better. Short rhyme in Spanish predicting Grantham's thoughts.
