Since last writing, dined at Lady Pelham's. Went to Ombres Chinoises; the shadows of the Finlocini. Dined with Lord & Lady Fitzwilliam, George & Hare. Vauxhall in evening. Lord Pelham gone to Stanmer with younger part of family. George has taken possession at Hackney. Lady Pelham & Harriet go tomorrow. Fritz to follow next Tuesday. Dined alone for first time since arriving back in England. La Vache gave a good leg of mutton, peas and pudding. Drank porter but no wine. Ate at the table where he had had so many meals in past with Grantham. Where is Masin's coach to be directed. Lord Maynard has married Nancy Parsons. Currently travelling in Italy. No accounts from the Commissioners but it is thought they had a quick passage as they were spoken to on 10 May within a few days of the American Coast. Tell Waddilove, will execute his commissions. P.S. Camerara's bill arrived, £34 13s.6d.
