    Parties: (i) Thomas Pearson of Saint Peter Martin, Bedford, gentleman; (ii) Edward March of Cople, yeoman; (iii) Matthew Daniel of Bedford, apothecary; Francis Mason of Bedford, innkeeper Reciting: - R6/14/9/9; - default was made in payment; - £32 was now owed to (i); - (i) had agreed to purchase (a) to £40 (including the debt of £32); - it was agreed to keep the residue of the term of 1,000 years “on foot” Operative Part: - (iii) gave 5 shillings each to (i); - (i) assigned (a)-(b) to (iii) for the residue of the term of 1,000 in trust for (i) Property: (a) close of pasture in Cople in occupation of John Jones containing 1½ acres lying near the cottage of formerly of Stephen Harding, now Thomas Middleton, and divided from land of Thomas Middleton used as a hempland, by a hedge; (b) ½ an acre of arable or sweard in occupation of John Jones in Brookfield, Cople, abutting: N on a meadow called High Mead; S on a pightle formerly in the occupation of John Warner, now William Skefford Witnesses: - Henry Horton; - Griffith Morgan
