    Walked in park with Colonel Wright yesterday evening. News from Mr. Hunt of a house to let or buy in Curzon St. Lord Sondes had lived in it, Lord Guildford there now. Thinks it next door but one to Lord Verney's. Is Mr. Parker interested? Contents of letter from Lord Thomond to T. Robinson; Lord Egremont in South Wales, Lord Thomond no thoughts of coming to town, execution of deeds must be postponed till next Winter, when nothing will be wanting on Egremont's part for finishing the transaction with Sir W. Robinson. Will show latter letter tomorrow. Has written to Milbanke. Father low on Monday, better spirits for a long time since then; due to them all enjoying Saltram "where his treasure is his heart is also" [reference to Therese’s marriage to John Parker]. Mrs. Stainforth & Colonel Wright think him better than last time, John sees no difference. Saw Chambers yesterday, M. Le Roy stays about six weeks. At Sir Joshua Reynold's yesterday, asks how you like "the West Moser & Bonneau I have not been to yet". Durham Yard gets on, no stone laid yet. Read Blackstone's fourth volume in a morning, Robertson in an evening, Pamela after dinner & supper, Candide whilst dressing, Publick Advertiser at breakfast and an old St. James' Chronicle "whilst I go visiting like Mrs. Narris". Four engravings of Bartolozzi left on the day T. Robinson left. Met Watson in street, gone to Paris now with Luther. Reynolds to draw Watson's picture, "left to Sir J. whether he should be painted in Canonicals quasi Jollocks or as Chymistry Professor...". Thomas Powell brought a letter from Thomas Robinson, glad he liked Blandford. "Did Mr Narris carry the Takka ma hack to Mrs. Clarkes as well as her daughters". Mentions Whiteway [House near Exeter belonging to John Parker originally, then his brother Montagu]. Letter from Turville. Milbanke likes proposal will consult nephew who may want to travel alone. Admonishes Thomas Robinson for leaving such poor writing equipment!
