Says "you knew the reason why I did not write...dearth of subject matter, unavoidable in this place: I cannot with Mr. Shenstone eke out a letter (much less a volume) with either egotisms or essays on men, manners & things etc..." Intends to answer Therese's letter. Nanny owes a letter [their sisters]. Term ends on 29th of month.
