From Beilby Porteus, Lambeth to 2nd Baron Grantham: Admits to `frolic' involving Dr. Butler who put Porteus' last letter to Grantham into Spanish for him [see also L30/14/315/8 & 30]. Archbishop of York has died, position offered to Bishop [Richard?] Terrick who declined it and then to Bishop Markham who accepted it; vacating Chester for which Porteus Kissed Majesty's Hand yesterday.
