The nuns of the Priory of Our Lady of Peace are a Roman Catholic community living according to the Rule of Saint Benedict and affiliated to the Olivetan family of Benedictines. The Priory houses a diverse community of nuns living under the leadership of a Prioress and under the jurisdiction of the Benedictine Nuns of Schotenhof, Belgium. The nuns wear the traditional white Olivetan habit. The nuns share Turvey Abbey with the monks of the Monastery of Christ our Saviour, with whom they participate in daily worship. The Priory has occupied the Abbey since 1980.
