It gives him the utmost pleasure to find his Lordship has got so well. Believes he was much worse than recent accounts have led him to believe. Tells Grantham that his horse O'Reilly is always at his service, by which means he will be able to execute his commission to better purpose than any of the kind Lasbon[?] executed during the thirteen years that he has been in this country. Informs Grantham that his horse cost him fifty quadruples and he should be apt to think him too dear, had the Sardinian Ambassador not offered him the same money for him in Aranjuez last summer. Says that the price is the smallest consideration and he does not want any advantage. The horse mentioned by O'Conry has never been returned for a second examination as requested, nor yet has Vegritty. Count Mazin/Masin had all his horses examined before his departure. Informs Grantham that Prince Masserano says that his Lordship may dispose of Manuel and he is always ready to execute his command. He is also persuaded that the major will take care of the horse until he is delivered in Madrid, where the money will be paid for delivery of the horse in good order. In the meantime, Manuel will prepare for his journey.
