- Scope and ContentAcknowledges his Lordship's favour of yesterday and is agreeable to his desire. Will write to Consul Katencamp by tomorrow. Glad that his Lordship does him justice in believing in his intentions to serve him and will now oblige him further by disposing of the sum intended for him and every sum or sums that he commands. Today’s post has brought advice that six thousand dollars has arrived at the Coruna from the Havana, which is equally at his Lordships service if he has the least occasion for it. Tells Grantham that if it was a million dollars he would give it to his Lordship with the same cheerfulness.
