Honoured with his Lordship's favour of yesterday and looks forward to the pleasure of his company here in eight days time. The topic of conversation for the past three days has been centred around Madam Forrest who is quitting her employment. Tells Grantham this is not news, as the affair has been brewing for the past twelve months since it began in San Ildefonso. Encloses an answer to the Marquis of Branciforte's letter whose "style" for the first billet he ever had the honour to receive from him. Tells Grantham his answer is not copied after his manner and he might be a little disappointed! Also encloses another of Consul Katencamp's Deputations for his Vice-Consul. Refers to a list of all the Vessels and their cargo, that are and have been in and out of the Ports of Biscay for the past two months. Believes nothing has been done in the way which they have suspected.
