The mortgage was called in when R S Bond became a trustee in 1910, but Whitbread was unable to pay off the mortgage, though has paid interest. W W Grant has a second mortgage on the properties. Forclosure of the mortgage is obtained, and J A Weston of Stafford Robers and A W merry Ltd becomes Reciever for the rents.
