- Date free text21 Jul 1786
- Production dateFrom: 1786 To: 1786
- Scope and ContentReceived Grantham's letter and in consequence has drawn for £152 payable to the order of Mr George Pickersgill at six days sight. The quarry by the river side has turned out very well and Mickle believes they may be able to get coping stones. Should be able to do most of the carting without much more hiring. The team and Mr Bounthwait would like to be paid, when it is convenient to Grantham. Is glad that Grantham is better, and hopes he may visit the works at Newby soon.
