    Wife's jointure is to be annuity of £600 and use of dwelling house for life, to secure which the following are conveyed and assigned to trustees, 3.:- Four messuages with banking house and shops in High Street and Market Place, Leighton Buzzard, in occupation J D Bassett, Mr J Sharman, Mr William Green and Francis Bassett, all of which (before alterations were made by J D Bassett and his late father Peter Bassett) were described in conveyances of 19, 20 January 1790, 7 July 1791, 1, 2 1802 (all to Peter Bassett), 16, 17 October 1835, 23 December 1842, and 31 December 1842 (all to J D Bassett) Life Assurance No.6616 of the Provident Institution for Life Assurance and Annuities, for £4,000, dated 11 November 1828, with bonus of £353..12 added 1834, and bonus of £421..13..3 in 1841 Life Assurance No.4487 of the London Life Association for Assurances on Lives, for £4,000. 18 August 1847 Endorsed: Settlement for further annuity of £200 Hannah Maria is entitled to the interest on £9,000 under will of Edward Satterthwaite of Manchester. But the whole of this sum has not been invested by the trustees, who may be liable for loss. Hannah Maria has assigned her interest in the sum to her husband in return for an annuity of £200. 13 May 1850 Endorsed: Reassignment of the terms created for the trust, since Hannah Maria has died 1 October 1866, before her husband 24 Jan 1867
