  • Scope and Content
In his letter of 6 April 1863 he said that he had found a note of the date of death of the notary, and then went to the notary's "protocol" at the Archives, and found a will of Oliver St John, which had been indexed as Oliviero San Giovanni. He will now discover if the required schedule is annexed to the will. On 12 April 1863 his searches show that St John's sister Signora Grison had obtained power of attorney over her brother's property, as he was not of sound mind. Later it was found that in 1738 St John was released from this interdiction, but he had to be guided by the Chancellor, Giovanni Meoli. Last letter 21 April 1863 asking if he was to copy the whole of the schedule
