    i) Sir Robert Charnocke ii) Anthony Carew, Gardens, Essex, Esquire Thomas Tempest, Lincoln's Inn, Esquire considered - competent sum paid by i) to ii) i) demises to ii) -Manor of Bealow in Clophill, Malden and Beadlow -Manor of Clophill, sometime the inheritance of Sir Thomas Fisher, knight, deceased, in Clophill and Keynhoe [Cainhoe], which Richard Charnocke, deceased, grandfather of i) and Ambrose Charnocke, deceased, uncle to i), lately purchased of Thomas Ansell, Barford, Esquire term - 31 years from decease of John Charnocke, Hulcott, Esquire, father of i) with reference to an annuity of £200 granted out of the premises and out of the Manor of Holcott and other lands in Bedfordshire by said John Charnocke to Agnes now wife of i) for life after death of i) for her jointure, by deed of 26 April 15 James [1617] the jointure of Elizabeth, wife of said John Charnocke only excepted. i) to give notice to Usher of High Court of Chancery of his father's death, within 3 months after such death so that ii) may have notice thereof. If i) refund £800 within one year of father's death in Rolls Chappell, Chancery Lane, then this lease void Also i) by recognizance dated same date as these is bound to ii) in £5000 now ii) grant that if i) within 3 months of death of said John Charnocke they are given notice of his death and of said £800 is repaid within year of said death, then said recognizance shall be void signature i) witnesses William Gilbert Ro Coffyn Thomas Kent Jo Rushworthe 6 July 1633 receipt of John Rushworth (on behalf of Sir Thomas Tempest, Attorney General in Ireland) for £400 6 December 1641
