Keppel is honoured with Grantham's letter and has considered how to be useful on the subject mentioned. He knows some very intelligent officers that could give very distinct information, but they are now absent. Thinks however that Grantham cannot fail in collecting information from Vice Admiral Edwards, who is within call and has commanded the Newfoundland Station over the last three years. Whenever Grantham sends his commands, Keppel will send Vice Admiral Edwards to attend Grantham.
