- Scope and ContentOn receiving Grantham's letter, Kennicott immediately ordered three copies of the second volume to be carried to Grantham's house, and has just received notice that they have been delivered. Kennicott told his bookseller that each copy contained his general dissertation, but is unsure whether the bookseller did not send a duplicate of the dissertation. If so, the separate dissertation is to be sent back to Rivington's.
