Recites will of Arthur Ellingham the elder of Stanbridge, yeoman 2 April 1766 bequeathing 18 acres in Stanbridge to his son Daniel, subject to legacy of £40 to children of his daughter Sarah Tilley after her death. Sarah has since died leaving 4 children under the age of 21. The above property (as in HC212) is conveyed and assigned to Ann Taylor. Of the purchase money £130..11..10 is to be retained by Ann Taylor in repayment of mortgage [HC212] and costs of an action of ejectment, £40 is to be retained by her to pay the legacy due to Sarah Taylor's children when it becomes payable, and the remaining £29..8..10 is paid to Daniel Ellingham.
