    Recites bankruptcy proceedings against Ellingham, resulting in the assignment of his estate to Lucas and Sibley on trust to sell for benefit of creditors, June 1744. The estate was put up for auction, and Lucas and Sibley bid £1,640 to prevent underselling. The Chancellor ordered another auction at which Capon was highest bidder at £1,240 Manor of Morells in Stanbridge, Leighton Buzzard Messuage formerly in occupation J Barnes 70 acres arable, ley, meadow and pasture 4 closes (20 acres): Brocks Close, Kingston's Close, the Pightle and the Long Close, with the dovehouse standing in one of them Messuage next messuage late of William Wigg south, and messuage late of Thomas Terle of Hockliffe north, and pightle or orchard adjoining 10½ acres arable, ley and meadow, described in deed dated 3-4 April 1721, made between Sarah Terle, widow and Thomas Ellingham.
