- TitleHe received news in Spa that his mother was unwell, and returned to England to find she was seriously ill. After two months she developed “a cancer in her breast” and died shortly afterwards. Mentions “The P.” has acted ungraciously towards him and his family by taking a sum of money bequeathed to Freind by Mr Cresset [see L 30/14/150/4]. Freind submitted his claim to the Attorney General, and “The P.” finally paid him an annuity of £100, which he has since revoked.
