Thanks for his letter, which he received whilst at the coast. He recently purchased a small house in Great Portland Street, and writes, “I have determined to derive half my Happiness from the tenderness and affection of a little woman, who has lost her health in nursing and restoring mine...” She is Mrs Baker, his nurse for the past 10 years, and his family approve of the provision he has made for her [?in his will] as he has no children.
