  • Admin/biog history
The group was formed in 1955 under the name 'St Ninian's Presbyterian Church Amateur Dramatic Society', by Pat Clark-Wilson and Katherine Graham. For logistical reasons, the name was soon shortened to the 'The Presbyn Players'. The group met every Tuesday at St. Ninian's Church in Villa Road, Luton. Their first production was 'Murder out of Tune' and they performed at St Ninian's Church until 1965, when they transferred to Luton Library Theatre. This was the group's main performance venue until they disbanded in 2005. This collection includes programmes for other local amateur dramatic groups, collected by a member of the Presbyn Players.
