" I am aware of the weight of business that has latterly been upon your shoulders, but you must really keep me a little informed about general matters, as well as those more especially in any department". Hoped to get copy of "the speech (Queen's Speech)". Great Ball last night "very full and very creditable" not seen in Dublin for many a year. "One of the rumours of the day was that Knatchbull had left the Cabinet as well as the D(uke) of Buckingham and I was asked, more than once, if it were so - I could only look like a fool and say I did not know" only knew about Duke's retirement from newspapers.
