    Attwood declines. Gregory can make good £3,000, friends here can raise £3,000. Can Government in England raise £1,000 or £2,000 from any fund? De Grey reluctantly will give them £500. Lord Fitzwilliam will not come forward (with money) unless assured of Lord Morpeth's candidacy. Colonel Creighton approached on our side but unlikely to come forward with the money. Jocelyn already published address to Lynn, has no money nor Lord Rodin. Letters being written to Abercorn and Waterford for money.
