Suggests writing letter instanter from Wiesbaden (de Grey gone there for his health), regarding what Regiment has done. Suggests meeting at York. Suggests need for rearming "swords and pistols", some of them are infamous". Details of inspection of Regiment. Little Merritt appeared in smart dandy dress, sent to Cleckheaton - ordered recall next day but of millowners begging him to stayed another night. Threatens him with Court Martial for disobeying orders. Asks for vote of Earl de Grey for Walter Coats of Leeds to be admitted to St Anne's School Brighton.
