Scope and Content
The vellum and arrack are on their way to Madrid. Many thanks for the successful purchase of the Vicuna cloth. Abbe Giamante has left for Naples, Don Francisco Lardsibal/Lardizabal, secretary to the Spanish embassy, for Madrid and is recommended to Grantham as a "prudent, friendly, well tempered man". Great preparations for the acclamation of the new sovereign are proceeding, probably to be performed next week.
