Has received of Mr Pagliarini money for the reimbursement of the arrack. Count Fontana sends his respects. News of America: apparently, "The province of New York has had the good sense to refuse absolutely to confirm the vote of its deputies at the congress, for a non importation and other hostile measure; if they hold steady in this purpose, the other colonies will have the good fortune to see a shorter and cheaper end to their contest with what they call their mother country".
