Forgot to ask Grantham whether Lord North had yet had an answer from Mr St. John. "What I have communicated to you of the repulse the Duke of B's agent has met with at Christchurch adds further strength to the just pretensions our friends have to success in that affair, which they have much at heart.
P.S. The Reverend Mr Stevens is at Beenham near Reading, Berkshire.
