Scope and Content
An American privateer and two "Prises" arrived in port recently, coming from Boston with fish oil and salmon. One vessel still in port. All received by the house of Messrs Gardoqui. An English vessel also appeared with salmon, "it grieves the Master as well as myself to see our selves oblig'd to pay 200 Reales to that house for Consolage, and (I hope) your Excellency will at least releave us of this burden".
