    in SJ1356-1357, the property was to be held to the uses declared, viz, as to one moiety ... to the use of the heirs of Thomas Watford as to the other moiety ... to the use of the heirs of Elizabeth Watford 26 June 1740 1) John Day 2) Henry Staines 3) Thomas Watford and wife Elizabeth 4) John Sharpe and William Lambe 5) John Rotherham Creed 6) Walter Corbett There was no issue between Thomas Watford and Elizabeth Creed, and Elizabeth survived her husband. As one moiety of the premises, in default of issue, was limited to Thomas Watford in fee, that moiety descended to Thomas Watford the younger, the son and heir by a former marriage. This Thomas Watford the son is the party in deeds of 22 June 1757 and 3, 4 July 1760 [SJ1361-1362] The other moiety was limited to Elizabeth Watford, whose will is abstracted 17 August 1755 will of Elizabeth Watford then of Wellingborough, widow, gave all her worldly estate to her mother Talbot Sharpe whom she made sole executrix. NB the fee does not pass by the will. Elizabeth Watford died leaving Robert Creed her nephew (being the son of her only brother John Rotherham Creed) her heir at law 22 June 1757 1) Thomas Watford, Bolnhurst, schoolmaster 2) William Watford mortgage of moiety of premises to secure £47 Talbot Sharpe had two husbands. By Mr Creed her first husband she had two children: a son named John Rotherham Creed and a daughter named Elizabeth. John Rotherham Creed married Rebecca Gadsby and by her had Robert Creed the grandson. Elizabeth married Thomas Watford of Knotting, gentleman. She survived her husband and had no children by him. Robert Creed was heir at law of his grandmother Talbot Sharpe and of his aunt Elizabeth Watford. he lived to be 21 and devised to his mother.
