    1) the Reverend Edward Beauchamp St John, late of Woodstock, Oxfordshire, but now of Lewisham, Kent, clerk 2) Thomas Atkinson, Lincolns Inn Fields, Middlesex, esquire, and Anthony Burrow of the same, gentleman Release by 1) to 2) from a bond in £7,000 to the Archbishop of Canterbury in which they stood as sureties for St Andrew St John of Shepherd Street, May Fair (afterwards Lord St John) if he as uncle and guardian of Edward Beauchamp St John and Henry Barbut St John, the only children of the Honourable George St John, should make an inventory of the goods of George St John and other probate formalities
