by Leonard William North Hickley, 10, King's Bench Walk, Temple, London, solicitor He is surviving trustee of marriage settlement of 13 April 1885 [recited in X440/841] Sophie Maria Eleanor Cosser was born on 22 March 1855 and married Charles Ernest Lavie on 14 April 1885. C E Lavie died at sea on 18 June 1887. There was only one child of the marriage - Mary Sophie Lavie, who was born at Moragulla Estate, Badulla, Ceylon, on 16 February 1886 and is now wife of F L Underwood, M.D. who she married at Malta on 6 July 1916. On 8 August S M E Lavie married Rupert Theodore Walton Sercombe his (LWNH's) father, Thomas Alien Hickley, one of the original trustees of the marriage settlement, died on 21 March 1886 and his successor, John Charles Tucker Steward, died on 23 November 1921 copy signature of L W N Hickley declared before J A Randall, Commissioner for Oaths 11 March 1925
