recites: X 440/799-800 Writ of Extent 5 February 1811 Thomas Sutton of Sandy, butcher, owed King £626.13.9¾d of which £56.13.11 was due from duty on property for year ending 5 April 1809 received by Sutton as collector for Sandy & Girtford & residue of £569.19.10¾ from Land & Assessed Taxes & property tax, for year ending 5th April 1810 sheriff ordered to imprison Button & take extent of his property Inquisition 24 May 1811 taken at house of Catherine Blewett called the Red Lyon in Sandy, taken by sheriff Joseph Howell esquire on oath of John Christmas & others; Thomas Sutton seised of: - parcel of ground in North Croft in Sandy : North North Croft Lane : South garden lately sold by Thomas Sutton to Henry Smith then in occupation of John Sutton recites: X440/799 which sheriff had seised as commanded. Writ of Venditioni Exponas 14 June 1811 to Sheriff of Bedfordshire property as above to be sold & profits paid to King endorsed: Booth & Leggatt, solicitor for Taxes [see also W1/339]
