    i) Francis Brace junior of Town of Bedford, gentleman ii) Sarah Dean of Sandy, widow recites: Indenture 3 March 1709/10 (i) Ralph Bromsall of Northill, esquire (ii) said Francis Brace conveyance of all premises of (i) in Bedford, Clapham, Thurleigh, Sandy & Girtford, in trust to sell the same. now: in performance of said trust i) conveys to ii) in consideration of: £231.10.0 - messuage, or cottage in Sandy used as inn or alehouse called Red Lyon in occupation of ii) - enclosed ground adjoining 3 roods - enclosed sward ground called Stewards Close 1/2 acre : North close of John Baines : South Netherfield Lands - enclosed pasture or wood called Coxhall 4 1/2 acres with wood & bushes therein lying near the Warren - 2 lands being 1 acre arable on Long Swadon Furlong late in occupation of Thomas Brinkly now ii) : East the Lodghill - 3½ acre meadow in Elthred Holme in occupation of ii) - ½ acre sward in Girtford Backside : East Girtford Field, : West Queen's highway : North ground of ii) signature: i) witness: Thomas Ellis, William Goodhall Livery of Seisin copy attested by Francis Wingfield & Nathaniel Mason.
