    i) Samuel Bradly ii) [? John Foster] "I went to Little Almeshoe & paid Mary Foster her Legacy & carried money to pay Michael but he had not got the note there but said he would bring it to Hitchin on Tuesday but sent word by his brother Deere on Tuesday that he should not be at market & as his sister had taken her money he wish'd not to have his for the present (100£). My daughter Sarah not knowing where to place hers immediately (200£) wishes not to have it directly & Lydia Foster don't wish to have hers immediately (50£) therefore suppose they must have proper notice to take it & then you should send such notices as my giving them notice will be of no avail. I intend sending 100£ by S. Geard & if you like it as well to send your legacy next Tuesday se'enight but should be obliged to you if you will send word what Interest is due on it.
