    i) Samuel Bradly ii) [? John Foster] "Last Tuesday Deere Foster & I appointed for me to go to Wymondley on Friday but afterward Matthew Foster & his brother Cook settled for the Legatees to meet at Hillend on that day to settle those accounts & it was agreed that those that wanted their money most should be paid their money & the other to leave theirs in Matthews hands upon his note & as they did not all of them want all their money immediately that it should be put into the Hitchin Bank but I told them that you said that you should have no objection to take the Wymondley money at 3 per cent interest & they all much preferred to put it into your hands if you was willing to take it." Is this agreeable? Postponed going to Wymondley until yesterday; "have begun an account but should be glad that you would come over the first opportunity & set us to rights if we are wrong. This day a young man from Luton came to Hitchin & seemed very eager to buy the wool & offered to give 37 shillings a Todd for it." Hitchin 26 January 1802
