Foster, esquire Beaumont has paid balance of purchase (encloses £60 cheque) & has possession; sorry to hear ii) has been so unwell again b) Letter 27 February 1894 parties as above hopes health is improved after winter absence. Beaumont is a sort of foreman over the bottling department at the brewery c) Letter 19 January 1894 i) Frederick Conder per R.F. Conder ii) Edward Foster, esquire Broom Hall encloses plan of building lots showing piece sold to Beaumont coloured red & dimensions; total: 11¾ poles d) Letter 10 January 1894 i) Frederick Conder ii) Edward Foster, esquire regarding Saffron Road; enclosed contract signed by Jacob Beaumont; hopes to send £50 to credit on account of grass e) Letter i) Frederick Condor ii) E. J. Foster, esquire has offer from man called Beaumont to buy 30' frontage of first lot in Saffron Ground at £2 per foot = £60; original lot was 54' but advises ii) to let it go as reserve price was £100 or £95 so ii) is not doing worse. Has application to take Garner's shop & house (he is building one for himself); applicant, a respectable plumber & painter etc wants new front for which he will pay 5%; will cost £20. Garner pays £18; will want doing up thoroughly when they are out as they are not the cleanliest of people. note by ii) 2 January 1894: tenant to take it on 3 years agreement & to leave premises in good order; will lay out £20 on new front, interest 5% f) Letter 28 February 1894 i) Godden son & Holme, 34 Old Jewry, London, EC ii) E. J. Foster, esquire Sandy Place encloses client's cheque for £27.10.0 rent of stabling 91 St. George's Square Mews to 17th instant; no longer of use to clients so could a sum be agreed instead of rent for next 6 months
