    i) Reverend James Jenkyn of Wootton, clerk incumbent of the parish ii) John Benson of Wootton, farmer - farmhouse now 2 cottages in Hoose Field & lately erected on part of the glebe land of the vicarage - parcels of land, part of the glebe land in Broadmead, Slade Acrey & the Hoose Fields now in occupation of i) & John Gillett, containing 160 acres for term of 7 years from 25 March at £336 per annum & further £100 per annum for meadow or pasture ploughed up without consent covenants for maintenance (refers to renewal of decayed fruit trees) further agricultural covenants including proportion of crops to be sown i) agrees to construct wash-house, dairy & cellar with a granary in the yard & will insure the premises against fire for £450 signature: i) ii) witness: George Jenkyn 17 March 1852 endorsed: Memorandum of Agreement (i) Reverend Frederick Neale, vicar of Wootton (ii) said John Benson agrees to let said premises on same terms from year to year from 25 March 1859 signature: (i) (ii) witness: Thomas Benson of Wootton, farmer Sophia Withins of Wootton, spinster 4 March 1859
