    i) Edward Lindsell of St Ives, Huntingdonshire, gentleman & wife Elizabeth, late Barber, only daughter & devisee under will of John Barber, late of Broom in Southill, gentleman, deceased ii) Elizabeth Barber of Broom, widow, relict & executrix of said John & mother of said Elizabeth Lindsell iii) Stephen Raymond of Potton, esquire John Barber of Broom, gentleman, minor, only brother of said Elizabeth Thomas MacGrath of Biggleswade surgeon Thomas Burton Lindsell of Biggleswade, gentleman, one of the brothers of said Edward recites: marriage of i), Elizabeth being minor of 17 whereas: by virtue of will of her father & subsequent death of her brother Raymond Barber a minor, said Elizabeth became entitled to freehold & copyhold estate in Biggleswade & £2,100 & to share of personal estate recites: Marriage Articles 28 October last (i) Edward Lindsell (ii) John Barber party hereto Robert Burton Lindsell by name of Robert Lindsell covenant by (i) to convey to (ii) after marriage so much of personal estate of said Elizabeth as together with that part which by her father’s will was settled for her benefit should equal one moiety of the whole estate to which she was entitled on day of her marriage, on trust to sell & invest the proceeds in securities on trusts...[details given] whereas: said articles were prepared without the privity of ii) & it is agreed that all real & personal estate to which said Elizabeth Lindsell or Edward Lindsell in her right was seised at time of her marriage should be conveyed on trusts as hereinafter expressed now: agree that as soon as Elizabeth is 21 i) will convey to iii) - all freehold & copyhold premises by will of John Barber deceased devised in trust for Elizabeth Lindsell on trust to sell & proceeds to be used on trusts...
