    Admission whereas: it appeared to this court that the King's Commissioners under the Great Seal grounded on statutes against bankrupts dated 16 March 10 George II [1737] was awarded against William Beaumont late of Biggleswade. Chapman now deceased directed to Thomas Love, John Welles & Alexander Hamilton together with Edward Simpson & John Hopkins esquire (commissioners to execute the same) by Indenture 20 April 1739 (inrolled in King's Bench 19 May following) commissioners sold to Daniel Waites of Smithfield Barr, London, linen draper - all freehold & copyhold lands of said William Beaumont Daniel Waite & Thomas Stratton by Letter of Attorney dated 21 April 1739 appointed Samuel Luke of Potton, gentleman, their attorney, by whom they are admitted to: - copyhold messuages & appurtenances in Biggleswade, late estate of William Beaumont, formerly in occupation of William Rudd senior & after admission to surrender the same to use of Button Limbrey of Biggleswade who is admitted. fine: 6¼d
