    i) Robert Hodges of Biggleswade, gardener & wife Sarah (nee Carrington) Thomas Samuel of Biggleswade, patten-maker & wife Elizabeth (nee Carrington) to use: ii) John Nathaniel Foster of Biggleswade, esquire consideration: £70 viz: £25 to John Horn of Little Wymondley, Hertfordshire, farmer, as sole executor of will of Thomas Horn, formerly of Wellbury in Offley, Hertfordshire, farmer, deceased £5 in his own right to William Thomas Chapman of Biggleswade, gentleman & wife Elizabeth in her right £5 to said Chapman in own right totalling £35 being ½ share of Robert & Sarah Hodges in purchase money £30.5.0 to John Horn as aforesaid £2.15.0 to William Thomas Chapman in his own right £2 to Charles Thomas Gardner of Biggleswade stationer (which 3 sums total £35 being ½ share of said Thomas & Elizabeth Samuel of said purchase money) by direction of John Horn, William Thomas Chapman, Elizabeth Chapman & Charles Thomas Gardner surrender: - right of common or pasturage for one horse, 2 cows & a breeder on the commons of Biggleswade formerly belonging to messuage in Shortmead End in occupation of John Whitehead, then John Wright, then John Carrington, then John Carrington his son, who was father of said Sarah Hodges & Elizabeth Samuel & now of Robert Hodges & John Chapman to which Sarah Hodges & Elizabeth Samuel were admitted under will of their father John Carrington deceased at court 20 & 21 April 1827 which common was lately let & stocked by the Fen Reeves of the manor of Biggleswade witness: Edward Stanton, deputy steward
