    29 & 30 October 1776 Surrender i) William Carrington of Biggleswade, senior baker, to use: ii) John Carrington of Biggleswade, baker, son of i) - messuage in Shortmead End & garden, orchard & piece of ground adjoining, late in occupation of John Whitehead, then John Wright then ii) to which i) was admitted 30 March 1749 on surrender of John Whitehead & wife Elizabeth at same court ii) admitted at yearly rent of 4d & surrendered to use of will 28 & 29 October 1777 Conditional Surrender for £200 26 & 27 October 1784 Acknowledgement of Satisfaction 23 & 24 October 1801 Admission i) John Carrington, under will of: ii) John Carrington, father of i) whereas: ii) died seised of cottage or messuage late in occupation of ii) then i) to which was admitted 1776, surrendered to use of will 28 & 29 April 1797 will dated 18 March 1801 devised same to i) who is admitted & surrendered same to use of his will 28 May 1814 Indenture i) John Carrington of Biggleswade, schoolmaster ii) Thomas Horn of Wellbury, Offley, Hertfordshire, yeoman Horn loans £140 & i) surrenders premises conditionally to his use + bond for better securing same 5 April 1821 Bond i) to ii) as above in penal sum of £120 for payment of £60 @ 5% per annum as in Indenture of Further Charge of same date 20 & 21 April 1827 Admission i) Sarah Hodges wife of Robert Hodges, then late Carrington, spinster Elizabeth Carrington spinster, under will of: ii) John Carrington recites admission of ii) 1801; will dated 13 July 1814 devised messuage to wife Sarah for life, then to daughters Sarah & Elizabeth who are now admitted as tenants in common, rent 4d per annum. 22 January 1845 Thomas Horn by will appointed son John Horn as sole executor 27 March 1846 Thomas Horn died & will proved by executor in Prerogative Court of Canterbury 14 August 1846 as to one MOIETY: 20 & 21 April 1827 Surrender i) Robert Hodges of Biggleswade gardener & wife Sarah (nee Carrington) to use ii) Sarah Hodges for life, then on uses... - said moiety of said messuage rent 2d fine: ½d & 1/3 of a penny 1 August 1844 Conditional Surrender i) Robert Hodges & wife Sarah ii) Charles Thomas Gardner of Biggleswade, stationer in consideration of £70 - said moiety of said messuage surrendered by i) to ii) conditionally 6 November 1849 Memorandum with Promissory Note by Robert & Sarah Hodges should be charged with £60 advanced by John Horn & Susan Horn & Ann Horn as well as with £140 & £60 before secured to Thomas Horn deceased 11 April 1851 Indenture i) C. T. Gardner ii) Elizabeth wife of William Thomas Chapman of Biggleswade, gentleman in consideration of: £70 paid to i) by ii) i) assigns said mortgage debt of £70 & interest in said property 26 May 1851 Surrender i) Robert Hodges & wife Sarah to use: ii) W. T. Chapman - said premises subject to repayment of £70 + interest 26 May 1851 Indenture i) to ii) as above reciting surrender 1827 & also will of Samuel Taylor late of Clophill which did not affect this title & life assurance on said Sarah in consideration of: £70 appointed said moiety to remain to uses... subject to redemption on repayment of £70 & interest at 5% as to other MOIETY: 30 July 1838 Conditional Surrender i) Thomas Samuel of Biggleswade, patten-maker & wife Elizabeth (nee Carrington) to use: ii) W. Chapman of Biggleswade, gentleman consideration: £100 - moiety of messuage then occupied as 2 tenements & garden, orchard & piece of ground adjoining in occupation of John Wright, then John Carrington the father, then John Carrington then Robert Hodges & John Chapman 13 September 1843 Conditional Surrender i) Thomas Samuel & wife Elizabeth ii) John Conquest of Biggleswade, schoolmaster consideration: £100 - premises as above subject to conditional surrender between John Carrington deceased for securing £200 on whole premises to Thomas Home late of Great Wymondley then of Ippollits, Hertfordshire, horsedealer & subject to another conditional surrender 30 July 1838 between Thomas Samuel & wife Elizabeth & W. T.
