i) James Ind of Baldock, Hertfordshire, brewer Robert Thurgood of Baldock, gentleman Thomas Thurgood of Baldock, baker (on behalf of themselves & of Jane Thurgood of Hinxworth, widow & devisee of John Thurgood deceased, farmer, James, Sarah & Hannah Thurgood, infants under 21) Thomas Reynolds of Baldock, butcher on behalf of himself & his brothers Philip & William Reynolds ii) John Foster of Biggleswade, merchant, on behalf of Ann Salmon of Bilderston, Suffolk, widow whereas: James Ind & all the Thurgoods are entitled to: - 1/4 part in: ...several pieces of land in Biggleswade formerly estate of Thomas Marshall deceased now in occupation of Jeremiah Banks whereas: James Ind and Robert Thurgood are surviving executors of John Thurgood late of Baldock brewer & as such are entitled to - another ¼ of said premises whereas: Thomas, Philip & William Reynolds are entitled to: - other 1/2 of said premises whereas: ii) has contracted to purchase said premises in consideration of: £2,480 (i.e. £625 to James Ind & the Thurgoods £625 to James Ind & Robert Thurgood £1,230 to be divided among the Reynolds) paid by Ann Salmon agreement by i) to convey to Ann Salmon - whole property as above
