Note: this will was never proved till 1737 when it was proved in Chancery, the trustees named therein refusing to act. After testator's death his daughters Mercy & Elizabeth entered on the rents, issues & profits of the testator's real estates, possessed themselves of his personal estate & paid debts. Never made any partition but by mutual consent Mercy took rents of Welborn & Elizabeth of Spalding & Biggleswade. After her father's death Mercy married --- Rudd. Elizabeth who had married Mr Britain died about 1727 leaving 2 sons Robert Audley & Baron & daughter Elizabeth. Her husband survived her.
