    - to be buried in Church of Queen Hithe near his wife - following persons to support his pall: Mr Nathaniel Highmore Matthew Langley Nathaniel Price Thomas Baker William Fuller John Barber to each of whom is given ring of 20s value - following to attend as mourners: Mr William Howard Sherland Short Richard Barber Gabriel Barber, junior Edward London John Ward to each of them a ring 20s in value - to brother Tobias Steward £10 for mourning & 20s for a ring - to Elizabeth Barber widow of Nathaniel Barber late of London, apothecary £10 for mourning & 20s for a ring & £80 as a grateful acknowledgement for her constant care and attendance on me during my tedious illness. - to Catherine Dyson daughter of my late uncle Dyson 52s per annum for life - to Mr James Steward, Mary Brice, John Piggot, Elizabeth Bunce, Hannah Griffith, Nathaniel Mason, Gabriel Barber senior, Mr Edward Clarke Parish & his wife, Mr Richard Witts & his wife, Robert Dinwiddie esquire, Mr Silas Hooper & his wife, Mr Thomas Handley and his wife, Reverend Mr Barker & Reverend Mr Spilsbury; to each ring of 20s value - to son John Steward all rest of real & personal estate - executor son John Steward - witness: John Ryland, John Humphreys, Mary Boyes dated: 11 March 1746 proved in Prerogative Court of Canterbury 6 April 1747
