    Supplemental account of Succession Duty of Elizabeth Pidgeon of Clifton on the death of Mary Bodger on 30 March 1878 derived from Emery Bodger under his will proved on 26 January 1869 on one sixth of: (a) 8 acres called Sharpe’s Close in Tempsford; (b) two old, dilapidated, uninhabitable cottages in the corner of (a); (c) messuage and homestead of one acre in Tempsford and 14 acres of sward in five nearby enclosures - (a) and (c) in occupation of Ezekial Hardwick at rent of £60 per annum; (d) four tenths of a cottage and garden in the north end of Blunham (copyhold of the Manor of Blunham) in occupation of James Wheatley at £8 per annum; (e) four tenths of 12 acres of sward near The Green, Blunham (copyhold Manor of Blunham) in occupation of Ashwell Ayres at £3 per annum Added explanation that (a)-(c) were devised by the will of Richard Bodger to Mary Bodger for life with remainder to Emery Bodger charged with payment of £1,050 and conveyed to Richard Bodger on 4 May 1842 by Luke Addington and described as a messuage, homestead and closes containing 22 acres in Lampit or Langford End, Tempsford and Spinney Close of 2 acres; (d)-(e) settled by John Emery in 13 December 1813 on Richard and Mary Bodger in which Emery Bodger had an interest [see Z1578/Blun/1/1] as one of Mary’s ten children and heir at law of his brothers William, Samuel and Samuel
