    Absolute Surrender (Manor of Blunham) by John Emery of Tempsford, gentleman subsequent to a deed of covenant of 30 December 1813 between (1) John Emery and Mary, his daughter and (2) Richard Bodger of Southill, farmer and grazier of (a) a farmyard and homestall with several barns, stables, cowhouses and outhouses in Blunham adjoining the road and late in occupation of Elizabeth Dennis, now of John Emery and Jane Norman; (b) close of pasture of 12 acres in the north end of Blunham adjoining the road leading to Rectorial Farm E and abutting the River Ivel formerly in the occupation of Elizabeth Dennis, now John Emery; John Emery was admitted tenant to (a)-(b) on 28 July 1807 on the surrender of Rev William Cowling and Ann, his wife – to the use of Mary Bodger for her life, remainder to Richard Bodger for his life as a widower, remainder to their child or children as tenants in common
