    i) William Beaumont of Langford, yeoman, son & heir, devisee & one of the executors of will of William Beaumont, late of Langford, yeoman, deceased, his late father, who was eldest son & heir of William Beamont, late of Hill in Warden, yeoman, deceased & one of the brothers & devisees in will of John Beaumont, late of Scroops in Langford, yeoman, deceased, who was 2nd son & devisee of William Beaumont the grandfather. Mary Beamont of Langford widow relict & other executor of will of William Beaumont the father. Edward Beaumont of Shortmead in Biggleswade yeoman the other brother & devisee named in will of John Beaumont Elizabeth wife of said Edward Beaumont John Mann of Biggleswade maltster & wife Ann Mary Beaumont of Langford, spinster [Ann Mann and Mary Beaumont are daughters and devisees in will of William Beaumont the father] ii) Thomas Marshall of Biggleswade, butcher recites: X440/342 X440/343 between Edward & William the father who have since enjoyed the land but Elizabeth wife of Edward was not made a party thereto nor was a fine levied to bar her dower but nevertheless said Edward & Elizabeth are willing to join in conveying & levying fine of premises to confirm the same to ii) whereas: William Beaumont the father by will 28 March 1731 devised to Mary Beaumont the mother & William party hereto - parcel of land called Holmside chargeable with £100 to daughters Mary, Anne & Martha, to son John £100 & daughter Elizabeth £50 at age 21; proved at Bedford recites: X440/344 whereas: Anne & Mary have attained 21 & are entitled to legacies but Martha, John & Elizabeth are all under 21 whereas: ii) has contracted with William & Mary Beaumont for purchase of freehold property for £620 now: in consideration: £108.10.0 part of said £620 paid by ii) to Thomas Squire in full of all monies due on said mortgage which is agreed to be assigned to ii) consideration: £200 (further part of £620) viz: £100 each to John Mann & wife Anne & Mary Beaumont ii) has given good security for payment of £250 to Martha, John & Elizabeth when they become entitled thereto £61.10.0 residue paid to William & Mary Beaumont now: i) convey to ii) - freehold parcel of arable 24 acres & barn thereon lately built on Holmside, Biggleswade : East Brickhill Close of Sir Thomas Bromsall : West common highway from Biggleswade to Langford : South John Goodes : North Robert Audley esquire now in occupation of Samuel Gunthorp signature: i) witness: Edward Rudd, Walter Nicholas Williams, John Segas Receipts endorsed: 25 March 1741 John Beaumont £100 witness: John Phillips, William King 29 March 1738 John Mann £100 witness: Robert Thomas, John Phillips 28 October 1748 Elizabeth Beaumont £50 witness: as above
